Lullabies for Grownups - Clouds, Piano Music For Everybody! Relaxation Music

I don't know if anyone unfamiliar with its source would get this, but to me it's infused with the tranquility of life beneath the big sky. It has that feeling of space and the security that comes from knowing you've got time and room to breathe.

As gentle and delicate as this album is, I want to crank it up loud on a summer's drive across Montana. Maybe catch a red-tailed hawk or an eagle dancing in the sky as it plays.

Kate Kohler's music makes me feel the way I wish I could feel all the time - peaceful and centered, like I have time to stop and look up and stop worrying about the million stupid things that constantly distract me from the beautiful magic inherent in being here right now.

This CD is a rare thing indeed, a collection of instrumental piano music that is gorgeous without being precious. It feels like it came from an actual human heart, instead of some bland new age Pez dispenser of moody sounds.

Kate's Lullabies for Grownups gives the troubled spirit rest, and doesn't just put you to sleep.
